Okay so here’s a note from my personal life:  My bestest friend in the whole world, my “bestie”, my BFF, my…whatever you wanna call it…is moving away.   And we’re not talking about moving to Dallas or or Denver, both cities very “doable” for a few days.  Oh no, THAT would be too simple, too easy to comprehend.  Instead, they are moving to Farmington, New Mexico, not nearly as doable.   Luckily, this is my busy season, so I’ve barely had the time to process this personal tragedy.  So if you all can just keep me this busy for the next 6 months (which I’m thinking would give me the time to find a “new normal”), that would be perfect.

Geez, sitting here and looking through this woman’s portraits just makes me want to work harder at Crossfit tomorrow.  And her beauty isn’t just skin-deep, either!  Andrell will soon be releasing her new book Navigating the Storm- Strategies to Stay on Course When Crisis Hits.  Congrats, Andrell!

Kelsey & Mark’s Storybook Wedding   www.StorybookWeddings.org

I met Mark & Kelsey at their Storybook engagement session a few months ago and I’ve been looking forward to their wedding day ever since!  They’re both very outgoing and genuine; the kind of people you want to be around, you know?  I’m very glad they chose Storybook and I’m so glad I met them!  Anyway, their wedding was absolutely beautiful, see for yourself:

Usually, I write something nice about the couple, AS a couple.  And believe me, this couple is very deserving of some sort of witty compliment, but I just have to get straight to my point…Samantha is gorgeous.  I mean, really.  Look at her eyes!

So then….we’re minding our own business, and Drunky McDrunkerson meanders over and insists that he be in one of the photos with the couple.  Jon & Samantha agreed, and DM was happier than sunshine to have his picture taken.  This was a first.  For all four of us, I think!  You can see the “please hurry!!!” in Samantha’s smile!

You might remember this beautiful face from her engagement session with Nathan.  I was super excited about doing her bridal portraits since she wanted something a little different than usual.  So here we go:

OH.  MY.  GOSH.  I’m going to try my hardest not to explode into a series of seriouslies, but SERIOUSLY!  (What exactly IS the plural of seriously?)  Is this not the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen?  I mean seriously.  Okay, okay, I’ll stop.  (But seriously, isn’t it?)

To Jake & Ashlee- it was a pleasure to meet your family and to work with you!  Your two girls are absolutely beautiful!  (Seriously.)

Luke and I were SOOO lucky to be at this Storybook wedding!  I’ve never done a wedding like this one and we had such a blast!

First of all, I love Harwelden!  It’s definitely one of my favorite Tulsa venues for outdoor weddings.  So I’m very glad that Andy & Anna chose Harwelden and I’m also glad that they chose Storybook- great combination!  Anna was absolutely stunning, and I’m pretty sure that if he didn’t have such a crowd, Andy would’ve dropped to his knees and begged for mercy at the first site of Anna.  Their wedding was beautiful and so colorful!

Andy’s ring somehow didn’t make it to the ceremony, but they played it off quite well!Congratulations, Andy & Anna!
