Meagan & Garry had a gorgeous ceremony this past Saturday at The Oaks Country Club. Seriously, sooooo beautiful. The sky was a perfect blue, the grass was that great golf-club green and Meagan, oh Meagan. Just wait until you see her picture. She. Was. STUNNING!! Garry’s black cons were the perfect touch, too! I’m just gonna stop talking so I can get to the pictures, ‘cuz there are a lot of them!

I’ve actually had the pleasure of meeting this couple several times prior to the wedding, which I’d do every time if it were possible. By the time the wedding rolled around, I’d photographed them several times and met several of their family members. As you can see below, Barbara has the most beautiful daughter, Erica, of whom I cannot say enough nice words. She kept a smile on her face the entire day and was always sweet to everyone! Barbara, you must be a fantastic mother, please feel free to give me some tips! I’m sidetracked, back to the wedding: Barbara & Shaun got married this past weekend at Camp Loughridge and Luke and myself (www.StorybookWeddings.org) were there to capture the day for them. Their decorations were outstanding! So simple, clean and elegant, I just loved them! They used Erica (of www.Erica-Weddings.com) to coordinate that day, and I have to say that brides who choose to use such an experienced coordinator like Erica, really are able to enjoy more of their big day since so many of the little details have been lifted off their shoulders. Shaun & Barbara, Luke and I were delighted to be there for your wedding and we wish you the very best!
I realize, of course that this next photo is not really blog material, but I just can’t get over how adorable this little boy is with his cheeks smashed into the glass!

I met Tara just a few weeks ago when she had her Storybook bridal session (see previous post for some highlights), and last Saturday I was able to meet the lucky guy, Josh. This couple is just so…so…I don’t have the right words (perhaps because I blog at 2 am?), but I can sum it up by saying that they are agreeable in every way. They are pleasant to be around, their families are pleasant, their friends are pleasant…it just says a lot about a couple and their future when it’s obvious that they make good choices! Forgive me for getting all philosophical in a photo blog, I’m not trying to get too deep, I’m just trying to compliment this couple! To Tara & Josh, it was so nice to meet you and I mean that sincerely!

This couple is a great example of the type of wonderful people we’ve met since we started going to church at YPC (www.yourplacechurch.com) last year. Luke and I had a blast shooting their wedding for them this past weekend in Stillwater. How did I NOT know about Theta Pond before this? (Thank you Jade!) They decided to see each other before the wedding and I’m a HUGE fan of this, since it allows for getting most of the pictures done before the ceremony and also seems to alleviate so much of the pressure of a wedding day. Samantha & Mike {Tulsa Photographers}
Well, you met Samantha in my previous post, so you already know how stunningly gorgeous she is. She and Mike were married this past weekend and Jackey, my mother and myself were honored to be there to capture the day for them. The ceremony and reception were outstanding- beautiful in every way! Samantha & Mike had a surprise helicopter exit waiting for them at the end of the night at Five Oaks, and as you can imagine, it was the perfect grand finale to a perfect evening! Congrats Sam & Mike!
