Lexi & Kody got married this past weekend at Tarp Chapel and I had the opportunity to be a part of their day. (www.StorybookWeddings.org) It was such a beautiful ceremony and Kody sang a song to Lexi (hold on for just a minute while I get sidetracked…..Holy COW that man can blow! I mean, they told me that he was a singer, but GEEZ! Is it even legal for one person to hog all that good singin’ and just leave the rest of us with some scraps?!)
Okay back to the wedding… Lexi’s daughter Haven was looking stunning, just like her mother, and Kody was more than dapper in his cream-colored tux!
Abby and Blake are getting married in October, so we set out for some lovie-dovie shots early one morning last week. I don’t know how they managed to look so great at 7 am, but here’s the proof that they did! Abby & Blake, it was so nice to meet you!

I can’t believe he’s already nine months! I’m not sure if I’m allowed to be jealous of a nine-month-old, but I am. Hunter has the MOST perfectly tanned skin I’ve ever seen, except I don’t think he’s got much of a tan. So not fair. I mean, just look at him! He’s gorgeous! Hunter’s mom and grammy are so good at making him smile during his sessions. If you need to hire a smile coach for your baby’s session, I’m sure they’ll give you a good deal!

My mother and I had the opportunity to shoot Cori & Andrew’s wedding this past weekend for Storybook Wedding Photography (www.StorybookWeddings.org). Their ceremony was very special, as both fathers took part. Cori and Andrew are not just nice people, they are nice people who truly love the Lord. It was so awesome to see such an aswesome couple with such a strong support system, between both of the families and their friends. They are well-loved! After the ceremony, we went to Five Oaks for their reception. We had such perrrr-fect weather, beautiful skies and almost no wind. Wow. I don’t think it could have been more amazing!
Cori and Andrew- it was so nice to meet you and your families! I hope you’re having a fabulous time on your honeymoon!

I’ve known John and Shirley since I was about 12 years old and as you can imagine, I think the world of them. They are living examples of God’s love and I’m so thankful that I can call them my friends. John and Shirley are ministers in Zambia, but they are currently in the states to raise support and to be refreshed. If you would like to hear more about their ministry or even donate to their work in Zambia, let me know( info@buonasarahphoto.com ) and I’ll get you in contact with them.

I don’t understand how it happens so fast! Where does the time go? Isn’t it still 2001? I have such mixed feelings about Noah growing up. On one hand, I’m sick of cleaning up doo-doo and I can’t stand whining. On the other hand, it’s happening so fast and I feel like I’m missing so many important moments. If you’re a parent, I’m sure you understand!

Are you humming that song now? It’s so contagious, isn’t it? Anyway, this was such a fun shoot. These four girls have been best friends for a long, long time. Each year they take one week to travel from their various locations, leaving husbands and jobs behind and just have fun together. What a great concept, right? I love that these girls value their friendship enough to do this. Ladies, it was so nice to meet you all, and Rose, let’s get together for some berry picking and coffee?
