And the prize for the Most Organized Couple of the Year goes to…..(drumroll please)…Beth & Ken.  Even though they’ve only been engaged for 6 weeks, they’ve already chosen their date, their venue, reception venue, photographer(www.Storybookweddings.org), Beth has a dress….everything’s already done!   Wow!

Anyway, the three of us set out early one morning last week to get some shots celebrating their engagement.  Here are a few shots from our time:

Fauna & Jason will be getting married soon, so we went to do some engagement pictures (storybookweddings.org).  Fauna & Jason’s story about how they met and fell in love is such a warm fuzzy one that it makes you say “Oh, maybe the world really IS a good place!” 

My husband Luke and I were able to shoot Annie & Shane’s wedding this past weekend for Storybook at Tarp Chapel in Broken Arrow.  What a wonderful couple!  And after meeting their families, their kindness was no surprise!

I dragged this family out of bed for an early-morning shoot at the park, and it worked out perfectly!  Kiersten & Rylie were so sweet and they hung in there for over an hour!   Post Family, it was so nice to meet you! 

Tell me my job’s not fun!  Go ahead, try.   

Heather & Michael must be the two most likeable people on earth!  (Did I spell ”likeable” correctly?  It looks strange.)  But seriously, I promise you, if you met them-you’d love them.  Anyway, they got married last weekend at Vesica Pisces and it was oh-so-beautiful!  Heather was absolutely stunning in her gown and nearly brought Michael to his knees when she stepped through the door!

Erika & Eric took the plunge this past weekend in Bartlesville.  Blaine (from Storybook) and I went to shoot their wedding and let me tell you, this couple wins one of very few awards for being easy going!  Seriously, she was more laid back on her wedding day than I am on a normal Monday! 

Oh!  And then at the reception, Erika’s grandfather proposed to her grandmother!   (They’ve been married for a long, long time, but he never truly proposed and she’s been hinting at it for all these years.)  Talk about tears!  I was a puddle.  Anyway, as usual, here are a few of my favorites:
