Just this past week, less than 24 hours after having all my wisdom teeth taken out, I took Tracie and PJ downtown for their engagement shoot with Storybook. It’s possible that I never spoke one coherent sentence the entire time I was with them, and yet they didn’t seem to mind (or maybe I just can’t remember?) Tracie is a modern day Audrey Hepburn, beautiful as she is graceful. And since I’m comparing this couple to movie stars, I’d have to say that PJ reminds me of the guy from Twilight (although I’m doubtful of any vampire activity.) Hmmm…too much Percocet tonight?

Yesterday, Blaine (of Storybook) and I went to Stillwater to shoot Paul and Kayla’s beautiful wedding. They had such a great sense of humor (see below)! Kayla was possibly the most organized bride ever. Seriously, you should’ve seen her pink planning bible; this girl’s amazing!

Jackey (owner of Storybook wedding photography, www.Storybookweddings.org) and I shot Trina & Rory’s wedding last weekend. What a sweet couple! I’m being serious; I’m not just saying that because I have to say something nice about the people I work with. Trina was the kind of person who didn’t get rattled about anything, even on her wedding day (an attribute that so far I only dream of attaining) and Rory’s just sweet as pie (again, an attribute I’m still working on!)

Sometimes I’m such a slow blogger. I’m way behind. I’ll get caught up one of these days, right? Anyway, Joe & Wendy are a Storybook couple (www.Storybookweddings.org), and about a million days ago the three of us went out on a freezing cold day to get some engagement shots. Talk about ‘easy-to-work-with’, they were great!

I met Casie & Ryan when I photographed their engagement session back in November of last year. Last weekend, my huband and I had the chance to photograph their wedding for Storybook (www.StorybookWeddings.org). Their ceremony was at the beautiful First United Methodist Church downtown. I just loooooove those big wooden doors! Casie looked like a dream in her ivory gown; I’m sure Ryan would agree! The reception was exceptionally beautiful, with amazing food from the Renaissance, totally innovative design by Judy Meir and great entertainment with Justin Echols (www.Justinecholsjazz.com). Congrats Casie & Ryan!

Luke and I had the privilege of shooting Liz & Ryan’s wedding last month for Storybook (www.StorybookWeddings.org). What a wonderful couple! Their families are both so sweet; it was so nice to see how both the bride’s and groom’s families truly loved the newest additions to their families. But enough of the mushy stuff! Liz looked stunning in her white dress with red trim and she almost brought Ryan to his knees when she came through the double doors. (Oh that’s right, I said no more mushy stuff.) After the ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed a beautiful reception and they danced the night away, just like a fairytale! Congratulations, Ryan & Liz!

Little Hunter is now four months old. He’s got the kind of cheeks you just want to pinch repeatedly and say “Wooojy-woojy-wooh!” in that rediculous baby voice we all use when addressing adorable babies! (You know what I mean, right? Tell me I don’t sound crazy!)
