I had the chance to meet Mark & Dedra earlier this year when I photographed their engagement session for Storybook (www.StorybookWeddings.org).  Last weekend they made it official!  Luke and I had the chance to shoot the wedding for them at the First Christian Church downtown, and their reception was at the Tulsa Garden Center, which is always beautiful, day or night.  They decided to see each other before the ceremony in order to exchange gifts and have some time together on such a special day.  I love it when couples decide to see each other before the ceremony!  It really helps to melt all the tension that can potentially poison an otherwise incredible day and it actually gives them a few minutes to themselves.   At the Garden Center, Josh from DJ Connections kept the party going–when we left late that night, they were still at it!  Congrats Mark & Dedra!  As usual, here are a few of my favorites:

I met Josh & Melissa earlier in the year when I had the opportunity to photograph their engagement photos for Storybook, (www.storybookweddings.org) so I was really looking forward to photographing their special day.  Melissa was SOOO calm before the wedding, I could hardly believe it!  They had a beautiful Winter Wonderland theme at the ceremony and then the reception was uber-nice (did I just coin a new word?) at the Golf Club.  I had a few minutes with them just before the sun began to get some “shots’o'love” (I KNOW I just coined that word, but I like it, so let’s make it an official term.)  As always, here are a few of my faves:
